Full Bloom

I get the WORST spring fever. Every year, without fail. I start planning my spring wardrobe in January. By February, I’m getting pastel manicures. By the time March rolls around, I’ve completely abandoned the idea of wearing a coat. Mind you, I live in New England…

That being said, it’s finally here!! Within the last couple of weeks, my dreary little city has transformed into something out of a fairy tale. Mild temperatures, blossoming trees, several consecutive days without rain…what more could a Bostonian ask for?! Seriously, it’s nothing short of breathtaking.

I’m well aware of the fact that spring typically last about a month (at most) in this part of the country, I saw this as a good opportunity to get some practice with my camera. So, on a particularly beautiful Sunday afternoon, I went ‘shooting’ with my mom. ‘Shooting’ is really taking the dog for a walk…with my camera.

Here are a couple of my favorites! I can’t believe I took these! Truthfully, my camera should get most of the credit. Who knew ‘auto’ could look so good!

The blue backdrop of the sky created such a beautiful contrast!

I’m really not partial to the pink blossoms. That’s just all I happened to see! Who am I kidding, I’m totally partial to the pink blossoms.
