Let me just preface this by admitting that I’m somewhat of a perfectionist. I’m never satisfied with ‘pretty good’. After posting photos of my puckered jewelry tray, I was determined to fix it. I slathered on another coat of Mod Podge and let it dry overnight.
Almost magically, those ugly little wrinkles disappeared! I totally went from being ‘pretty happy with it’ to being kind of obsessed…
It looks even better with some actual jewelry…
In case you’re wondering, the adorable statement necklaces are from Jeweliq. I highly recommend them! Give the pricetag, I was rather impressed by the quality! Sure beats the $150 a piece I would pay at J Crew…
I’m now actively looking for more items to transform using Mod Podge. Picture frames, vases, mason jars…I can hardly contain myself.
